The Freedom Trail
The Freedom Trail is arguably the most popular attraction in downtown Boston, and one that extends into the North End neighborhood. Featured in The Freedm Trail are historically significant landmarks and sites, including many that are relevant towards Boston’s role in the American Revolution. On The Freedom Trail, there are a number of locations in the North End, like the Paul Revere House, which leads us to our next must-see destination.
Paul Revere House
A truly historical site in every sense of the word, the Paul Revere house is conveniently located right in the heart of the North End. Built in the late 17th century, the home of Revolutionary hero Paul Revere still stands as a museum today.
Old North Church
The Old North Church played a crucial role in Paul Revere’s midnight ride, and perhaps the American Revolution as a whole. It was also referenced in the iconic poem “Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
